Broccoli Chicken Cheese Log
Broccoli Chicken Cheese Log
Ingredients:
2 cans Crescent Rolls (8 rolls per can)
3 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
Seasoned Salt, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder
1/2 cup mayo
Bag of Steamable Broccoli (with cheese sauce)
Combine the shredded chicken with the mayo and add some of each seasoning (to give the chicken some added flavor)
Almost always when I cook, I use my "three amigos": Seasoned Salt, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder.
On a greased cookie sheet, spread out your cans of crescent rolls and close up the seams.
This broccoli is the best to cook with. The cheese sauce is already in the bag and you toss the whole thing into the microwave. You don't have to dirty an extra dish! Cook it according to package instructions.
Combine the broccoli and cheese sauce in with the chicken.
Spread the mixture into the middle of your crescent roll dough.
Fold the sides of the dough in and on top of your mixture to make a "log" shape.
Bake a 350 degrees for about 20 minutes (just until the crust in golden brown).
Let it cool a little before you try to cut into it or it will just kind of squish rather than cut.
It made such a large amount that my husband and I both ate our fill for dinner, took it to work for lunch the next day, and still had some left after that! And it was delicious!
