Simple Shirt

To make this shirt, I cut off the bottom of one of my husband's white t shirts just under the arms.  I laid my fabric upside down on the shirt and sewed the seam so that when my seem was sewn and the fabric was turned back over the seem would be invisible.  Then I turned the whole shirt inside out and sewed up the side seem from my long strip of fabric (the bottom part).  I put the belt on it to cinch in the waist to add more shape.  I like how it turned out. They say practice makes perfect, so that's all I'm doing at this stage of learning to sew!
