To make these thumbtack buttons, I used... well... thumbtacks and buttons. Rather self-explainatory. But still really cute! I found a huge cork board at a flea market for three dollars. The frame was really beaten up, but it was nothing that a coat of black acrylic couldn't handle! To coordinate with the black frame, I bought some plain black buttons from Wal-mart. I hotglued a flat thumbtack to the flat back side of the button and *ta-da* thumbtack buttons!
