Turkey Pot Pie
Snowmaggedon Chronicles Day 3:
Starting to run out of groceries and hoping my town's roads reopen soon. Luckily, the remaining groceries I have allowed me to make this delicious pot pie! My 10 month old even loved the filling!
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 can mixed veggies
2 tbs ranch dressing
Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt- to taste
2 ready made pie crusts
Directions
Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper and cook thoroughly. Drain. Drain all liquid from the can of veggies and combine with the turkey, soup, and ranch dressing. Heat through and season to taste.
Place one pie crust into pie pan. Add filling. Top with second pie crust. Cut four slits into the top crust and crimp closed with fork. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cover the edges of the pie with foil to keep it from getting too dark. Bake for 20 more minutes.
I love pot pies! Although my hubby doesn't, so I usually don't get a chance to make them... I'm having a link up party today and would love for you to share this.

Hello Rebekah, I was going through a friend's list of blogs that she follows and the title of your site drew me in . . . it's very clever. After arriving and checking out your wonderful recipes and your creative photography and ideas, well, I became your newest follower # 285.
ReplyDeleteI love to sew, quilt, cook, garden, play music, sing . . . let's just say I enjoy each and every day that the good Lord blesses me with. I'm an older blogger, probably old enough to me your grandma, but I love the youthful energy of your site. I makes me smile.
I hope that you will visit and maybe even follow me back.
Have a lovely weekend.
Your blogging sister (grandma), Connie :)
Thanks, Connie!
