We're into day two of below freezing temperatures, and I am not cut out for this kind of weather! I've been making soups trying to stay warm. This one I made in the crock pot.
4 cups beef broth
One lb velveeta, cubed
One lb cooked ground beef,seasoned with onion powder, drained and rinsed
Combine first two ingredients in the crock pot and cook on high for four hours, stirring occasionally.
Add the ground beef and bacon bits and cook for another hour.
Top with additional shredded cheese and bacon bits.
