Family Monogram

Two of our friends are getting married in two weeks!  I am so excited.  I love everything about weddings: decorations, dresses, and GIFTS!!  It gives me a great reason to be crafty (not that I really needed one)!  For these two lovely people, I made a canvas monogram.

 I used an 11x14 canvas and dark red paint (Crimson~ They are both Alabama Fans... Roll Tide~)

 I painted the whole canvas with a few coats to make sure it was even.

I used my handy-dandy overhead projector to trace out the monogram (which I designed on Picnik)

I filled in the type and graphics with white paint.

I outlined the letters with black to make them stand out a little more. 

I am so excited to give this to them!  And I can't wait to see them get married!
