Flat Jacks
My students have been learning about the Flat Stanley book series this week. We are going to make a Flat Stanley of our very own to mail out next week. He will be traveling to Japan, Germany, and Brazil, in addition to many different states! In honor of Flat Stanley, we made "Flat Jacks" this morning for breakfast! They were a huge hit and very easy to make. We used peach slices for ears and a mouth, banana slices for eyes and nose, chocolate chips for pupils, and syrup for hair. I made one as an example, and the kids used their following-directions skills to make their pancakes look like mine. They did an awesome job matching the toppings and enjoyed eating their creations!
